Jaron Lanier's You Are Not A Gadget
Seth Godin's Lynchpin: Are You Indispensable?
Ken Auletta's Googled: The End of the World As We Know It
I recommend all of these titles, but definitely read Lanier's book first. They don't keep him on salary at Berkeley as resident genius for nothing.
